A Mi lehet az? gyűrű lehetőséget ad a viselője számára, hogy elrejtsen egy apró tárgyat vagy üzenetet, levélkét stb. a gyűrűben. Ő dönti el, hogy mire használja fel ezt a lehetőséget: a pillanatnyi hangulatára utaló tárgyat rejt el benne? A véleményét fejezi ki egy adott témáról? Vagy egy személyes üzenetet kíván átadni? A szemlélő számára rejtély, hogy mit jelenthet ez a tárgy – az ő döntése, hogy kér-e magyarázatot rá. A gyűrű addig hordozza az adott üzenetet, így a gyűrű a viselője ujján van: amint leveszi, a gyűrű ’elejti’ a tárgyat.

A Hogy is van ez? I. gyűrű két egyszerű geometrikus formából áll, amelyeket egy 360 fokban elforduló zsanér tart össze. Az így kapott négy gyűrű-lap egy „kifordítható” ékszert eredményez, a viselője dönthet arról, hogy mely oldalakat akarja az adott pillanatban viselni.
A zsanér tengelye kivehető, így a gyűrű darabjai kicserélhetők, tovább bővítve a lehetőségeket. Ez az ékszer a tervezőjét is további kísérletezésre ösztönzi: milyen anyagokkal, felületekkel bővíthető még a tárgy? És ezek az anyagok vajon milyen hatást gyakorolnak majd az ékszer viselőjére?

A Hogy is van ez? II. gyűrű a formájában hordozza a meglepetés ígéretét: zárt állapotban egy fegyelmezett, szabályos alakot mutat, amely azonban – ha a viselője úgy kívánja – egy pillanat alatt az ellenkezőjére fordul. Nyitott állapotban egy random alakítható, „rendetlen” tárggyá válik. Az elemek különböző módokon kifordításával egy sokarcú tárgyat kapunk, játszhatunk a tárggyal, kedvünkre alakíthatjuk. Különböző felületek / anyagok / színek alkalmazásával a hatás még tovább fokozható.

What Could It Be?

The What Could It Be? ring allows its wearer to hide a tiny object, message, note, or other small item inside the ring. It is up to the wearer how to use this possibility: perhaps to conceal an object reflecting their current mood, to express an opinion on a particular subject, or to convey a personal message.
For the observer, the meaning of the hidden object remains a mystery—it is their choice whether to ask for an explanation. The ring carries the message only as long as it remains on the wearer’s finger: once removed, the ring “drops” the object.
How Does It Work? I

The How Does It Work? I ring consists of two simple geometric forms connected by a hinge that rotates through 360 degrees. The resulting four ring surfaces create a reversible piece of jewellery, allowing the wearer to choose which sides to display at any given moment.
The hinge pin can be removed, making it possible to replace individual parts of the ring and further expand the range of combinations. The piece also invites its designer to continue experimenting: what other materials and surfaces could be incorporated into the object? And how might these materials influence the experience of the person wearing the jewellery?

The How Does It Work? II ring carries the promise of surprise within its form. When closed, it appears disciplined and regular, yet—if the wearer chooses—it can be transformed into its opposite in an instant.
When opened, it becomes an irregular, freely adjustable, almost “disordered” object. By turning its elements outward in different ways, the ring takes on many different appearances. It becomes something to play with, reshape and alter at will. The effect can be enhanced even further through the use of different surfaces, materials and colours.
